Custom engagement ring and wedding band set
Materials: 14kt Rose Gold, 7mm Freshwater pearl, custom cut marquise in pink morganite
Like many couples who are entertaining getting married the idea of the engagement ring is often touched upon. It’s always nice when there is a meaningful story behind it. The love story behind this couple started off with the quest for the perfect pearl. It had been agreed upon that when the groom (a former diver) was going to propose to his now wife, he was going to dive down to the bottom of the ocean and find the most perfect pearl. He would take that pearl and have it set in the most perfect setting and then get down on one knee.
That perfect pearl came in the size of 7mm, the perfect setting touched on their love for nature, and the bride’s favorite color, pink, was the perfect complementary accent to the finished piece.
When it came to designing the wedding band the Bride wanted to make sure that the tribute to nature was captivated here too. Like the engagement ring, the band was made in a matching rose gold. We had seven custom cut marquise pink morganite made and set to hug the engagement ring like an ivy.
For the bridesmaids in the wedding party, we took the same marquise cut and size from the wedding band and had some white moonstone made and created little flower stud earrings.
This set was not only deeply personal but a beautiful love story to the couple’s love of nature.
